Product Description

RUISOFT RJ-8061A is a linear, amino polyether modified polysiloxane copolymer. RUISOFT RJ-8061A delivers a smooth, soft and elastic hand to most kinds of fabrics. RUISOFT RJ-8061A imparts very low yellowing compared to conventional aminosilicones. In addition, fabrics treated with RUISOFT RJ-8061A are not hydrophobic.

Application

As a textile auxiliary agent, RUISOFT RJ-8061A can be used for most kinds of fabrics, including woven cotton, synthetic fabrics and their blends.

RUISOFT RJ-8061A should be emulsified before applying in textile finish process. It is easier to be emulsified than other traditional silicone oil for textile softener. Normal equipment and emulsifier can meet the requirement.The emulsion based on RUISOFT RJ-8061A is extreme stable at a high shear speed. Also, it will not stick to rollers, no oil floating, no demulsification.

For textile finish process, RUISOFT RJ-8061A can be applied by padding and impregnation finishing. RUISOFT RJ-8061A can be compatible with nonionic and cationic textile auxiliaries, and can improve the performance of the softeners.

Emulsification process

1. Add RUISOFT RJ-8061A and emulsifier in a container, and stir evenly for 5-10 minutes.

2. Slowly add the acid and water while continuously stirring the mixture in the container, every 5 minutes add 50g water and 1g acid. This procedure lasts 30minutes.

3. Add the rest water and the rest Acetic Acid, adjust pH=6.

Performance comparison

The products are subjected to the form of micro-emulsion,following the proportion of oil around 20% in the emulsion. The samples are applied in concentrations of 25 grams per liter on cotton and 10 grams per liter on polyester.

Salt resistant stability

To realize the salt resistant stability test we use 10g/l Na2SO4 and 20g/l RUISOFT RJ-8061A in 200ml bath. The following pictures are the results of the test.

Alkali resistant stability
